A natural approach for infertility
I have been in practice for the last 17 years. During this time I have seen anything from Vitamin d deficiency to endometriosis stage 4 that can prevent patients from falling pregnant.
As a Homeopath, Chinese medicine and Acupuncturist, I investigate what the root cause of symptoms and problems are. In this program I want to share with you the well-known and the lesser known factors that may be affecting your fertility.
The philosophical concepts of Chinese Medicine are based on a holistic approach of the individual in their environment rather than upon the simplified cause and effect principles of Western Medicine. The body and mind is seen as one unit. Thus the patient is seen as being a part of a continually interacting World, where mental states, environmental factors, diet and lifestyle play an important role in health. Ill-health ensues when the natural balance is disturbed.
This program is designed to be simple and easy to understand so that you can have a better understanding of how your body works. Even though there is so much information on the web, you still need to do a lot of searching to put it all together and this can lead to confusion. In this program all the information is put together in such a way that you will be able to understand and follow it easily to increase your chances of conception by looking at the possible root cause of symptoms with a natural approach.
This program complements your consultations and examinations with your gyneogologist or fertility specialists.
12 Modules - Rich with videos and information - why you are not falling pregnant and how to treat it.
A step-by-step approach, with a checklist, so that you will understand what steps you can take to increase your fertility.
16 years of my Integrative practice experience of what works are in this program.
Even if you are considering IVF if your body is not in balance your chances of conceiving through this method will be reduced.
Understanding how to prepare the body is the best way to improve your chances for conception. It is also very easy to get overwhelmed when you read all the (often conflicting) information available on the internet, especially if you are looking for a quick solution instead of looking at what the underlying problem is, for example blood sugar disorders, endometriosis, and then addressing these to solve the problem. As a last resort donor eggs might be considered for fertility and even if that is a last resort, the better your body is prepared the easier it would be to fall pregnant.
"I have been in a Functional Medicine Holistic practice for over 16 years helping patients to fall pregnant and I fully understand how treating the underlying cause is of utmost importance. I had a patient who had been struggling to fall pregnant for four years before consulting me. One of her symptoms was candida. After we cleared the candida she easily had her baby. In fact, her fourth child is a year old now. She conceived the other 3 children very easily".
About Dr Debbie Smith
MY HEALTH STORY
I have spent over 20 years studying and learning to keep up with how to best address your concerns from a functional medicine, eastern medicine and homeopathic approach. I believe this combination is true health-based medicine and will be the future of disease prevention and ensuring excellent health. This is why I chose this field over other healthcare occupations.
I use a blend of modern scientific (latest functional medicine tests) and ancient techniques (acupuncture) to treat patients in a holistic manner. I am consistently studying the latest techniques and findings in the alternative medicine arena, and often provide input to leading health columns, programs and conferences on request. I am qualified as a homeopath with an M.Tech. (Hom.) Cum Laude from the University of Johannesburg.
I am one of only a handful of practitioners with dual qualifications as a Homeopath and Acupuncturist. I advocate a healthy lifestyle and enjoy sport, and activity. I am an avid adventure racer and have completed the Absa Cape Epic (Toughest Mountain bike race over 8 days), Ironman South Africa (3.8km swim, 180km cycle and 42km run) and Comrades Marathon (87km run Ultimate Human Race).
